The Angler Project

The Angler Project is a philanthropic endeavor dedicated to empowering women who fulfill the pivotal role of primary breadwinners for their households. The recipients of The Angler Project benefit from tailored aid designed to address their unique needs, which may include the acquisition of sewing machines, deep freezers, and financial backing for their entrepreneurial endeavors.

Human Rights Foundation held the pilot programme in July 2022 in Akure, Ondo State with 6 beneficiaries. As opposed to giving unsustainable financial handouts, we are more focussed on funding or providing equipments that directly support a means of livelihood or vocational training that can then lead to a means of livelihood.
